To inspire and empower you to reach your optimal health & fitness, by incorporating the original teachings of Joseph Pilates, in order for you to embrace life with vitality and zest

The Studio

Pilates for Wellbeing (PFW) is India’s first fully equipped state of the art – Classical Pilates Studio, practicing the authentic methods of wellbeing devised by the founder Joseph H. Pilates. It is a world class facility, spanning over 2000 Sq. Ft opened in October 2015. It is designed to meet international standards and to provide customers a holistic and low intensity fitness regime.

Kavita Prakash, Founder and Principal Instructor of Pilates for Wellbeing, a one-time competitive athlete and a Dubai resident for over 17 years.

Sandhya Muralidharan

Instructor

Sandhya Muralidharan choice to become a fitness instructor was not a planned one, however the efforts to get rid of post-pregnancy weight.

He is a software Engineer by profession and has worked in the corporate world for several years which has led him to hold quite a few patents.

Anjali Ganapathy

From a 10yr career in strategy and brand marketing, Anjali Ganapathy found new roots as an entrepreneur and chef behind her food and catering brand PigOut.

What is Classical Pilates


Classical Pilates is the purist version of 'Contrology'. It focuses on an intensive understanding of the Human musculoskeletal system to achieve a personalized, full body and mind workout without strain' or injury, just the way Joseph Pilates had taught it.

Why Classical Pilates?


Joseph Pilates' traditional method should be honored because it works.

Classical Pilates instructors are rigorously trained to work with every level of fitness, body type, age and musculoskeletal condition. They undergo several years of instruction, not just in terms of technique but also in-depth understanding of human anatomy, and are trained to impart this understanding to their students.

I have slimmer arms and a nice flat stomach. My husband is actually jealous and wants to start pilates too.
